It’s been over a year since my last blog entry. Really? What’s up with that? I do have a lot on my plate but still… Anyhow, just started video blogging as part of a 30 Days of Vlogging event. I am posting the vlogs on vimeo. I realize I need to link them to this site, but I’m not sure how. In the meantime, I’ll include the links here. These are basic — no artifice, no special effects — just me. Back at it tomorrow! By then I may even figure out how to link them to this site.

Aloha Miss Natalie! I hope you’re doing well! I want to tell you I love your vlogs! I also want to thank you for bringing the sounds of the beach and beauty of the sunrise alive for me. Being blind, seeing a sunrise or sunset is one of the things i miss. I used to be able to see those things, but not much anymore. You really made my day today! The beach is one of my favorite places as well. I find it calming, especially the sound of the ocean! I hope you don’t mind me asking, are you going to write an auto biography? I’d love to read it! Not only about GGI, but also about your life before and after it. You definitely shaped my childhood for the better through GGI. I’m also a creative person. I write stories. Well I hope you have a blessed day.

Aloha Lauren! The beach is absolutely one of my favorite places. It is hard to get caught up in your own head when you are standing on the edge of the land, facing something so vast and powerful and beautiful! You know, I hadn’t really considered an autobiography. It’s hard to imagine that anyone would care. But it’s something to think about, and when you asked I began to consider it. Maybe I will. Thank you. Wishing you a creative joyful day. And I’ll make a point of posting more nature sounds in my vlogs!!
